…I know – but it’s something to look forward to. And it is just around the corner. You can start planning and preparing for your warmer weather projects. If you’re still on the fence about buying or selling, get the facts from a professional. Don’t base your decisions on what you hear in the media. It never hurts to be informed on market values and the current market value of your home. It’s your biggest investment. Shouldn’t you always know its current value? Off market sales

“Off Market or Exclusive.” Is when a seller lists their home with an agent, BUT it is not advertised on the realtor.ca system. Why would a seller choose to do this, especially during a market like this one? Many reasons. COVID has sellers reluctant to open their homes to the masses.

PRIVACY is another reason. Some sellers don’t want neighbors, family or friends to know they are selling. TIME, many sellers prefer to sell without the frenzy and tight timelines to make a major decision. Selling off market doesn’t mean a “deal” for the buyer. Buyers expected to pay full market value. But appreciate the opportunity to buy without the pressure of competition. Selling off market allows sellers and buyers to take time to review and negotiate offers.
